| LOVE GIFT |
|
Love Gift has been a part of the program of American Baptist women since 1931-2. The women in ABC stepped up to meet the need of a $500,000 deficit. The women set out to raise $150,000 to help. This happened in 1932 during the Depression. The women realized the importance of keeping the mission of the denomination alive. Boxes became the receptacle to encourage the contribution to be over and above the regular tithes. The mite boxes were sometimes spelled MIGHT with the theme If we know, we pray; if we pray, we give.

| REGIONAL PROJECT |
|
Each year a Special Project is adopted by the AB Women's Ministries of Massachusetts. The 2009-11 project voted last year at spring conference will be raising funds for specific projects at Grotonwood.
